Were you trying to make some statement?

Were you trying to give off the illusion that this had some profound statement about how 'superfical' people are now or something? well one thing, it's been done, very obvious concept. And terrible execution. The only reason this is getting the praise it is getting is because it makes people feel smart because it has the word 'modern' and 'portrait' in the title, and then Because it has a WHACKY mix up that is caused by something, (which is also overdone and oh so obvious) and then a chain reaction. The simpsons did this all with ants, funny, the whole caption thing was a little to similar actually. I wouldn't be so hard on you if this was a flash that wasn't put in such high-estem. this is not a 'masterpeice' and it's no smart. it's pretty much a half of a half of a third as sophistacated and orginal as a Jeff Foxworthy joke about his aunt or truck. if you want to see something smart, and something with a valid and original statement type in 'ALANTHEBOX' in the search bar right here at newgrounds.
I honestly am in awe right now, at the fact that you people actually think this is good or something.

The first good looking claymation on NG that I've seen. Makes Knox's crap look like, well, even crappier crap, That is in other crap, that is in a toxic waste dump. Sure it wasn't incredibly hilirous, But I laughed at the end, It was just funny how quickly it happened and the noises.

boring, and really simple

make a tween inside of a tween, make each body part a tween (and the cane) then copy those frames and paste it as a tween under that on fliped upside down, that should take like 3 hours.

There are no tweens, Its complete frame by frame. Yes it was animated in a movieclip and then flipped for the reflection, but alot of effort went into this to make it smooth without the use of noobish shape tweens.

They only reason i am reviewing this is because, That song in the Backround sounded like a cover of a spice girls song. You really aren't awful at animating sticks.

You know nothing, Everyone isn't going to get a job where they can act however they want, and everyone isn't going to get respected acting diffirent, if everyone followed your obvious, 'already made many times' message (not caring what others think, not conforming because 'THE MAN' tells you to do so) everyone would be poor because everyone would sit at home thinking up a new way to set themselves apart from the rest and we would have no money in the textiles inc. because everyone would make there own crap. and what do you mean only a few are chosen to break the mold, are they born with 3 eyes? You'll look back on this and think "Gee whizingtons, what a waste of time!, if everyone did what this said, then the world would fall apart!" sometimes things have to mimic to work! we don't change our government because some other group takes it up.

I find it entertaining when people hide behind aliases and flame others online. Brother, you are missing my point entirely. And, to tell you the truth, i look at your flash, and think "Gee whizingtons, what a waste of time!"

NOTE: This was made when I was VERY bad with flash!! is not something that you want to have on your submissions. i viewed about half of yours, and they are sub-par to mine. all of them. This was my second flash, and you have had a lot of experience, it would seem, so why do yours still suck?

by your profile, you are fifteen, you still have much to learn. I know that i am not a whole lot older than you, but i have seen war, i have graduated from that hell-hole high school, i have seen people in many cultres who DO FOLLOW a set path, because they are told to. This flash is meant to speak out against that, as well as the people in the U.S. I'm not asking for anarchy. I am asking for individuality.

I didn't watch past the first 7 seconds because when i do i feel so embarassed for you it hurts (seriously) I hope you don't base the rest of your life on making these, but then again, 7-11s not so bad, and your parents basement might be pretty roomy
