hey, hate to break it to you, but There is already a famous book with the same name by Tobias Wolfe, and not olny that, but a Movie based on the book, Also called This Boys Life,
The movie came out in 1993, and it stars Robert Denerio and Leo Decaprio, so its a pretty well known movie.
